We promote positive attitudes to diversity and difference within all children in our care. In doing this we encourage children to learn to value different aspects of their own and other people's lives. We ensure all families are included and feel safe and treat all children as individuals to ensure that they are not discriminated against. We aim to overcome barriers for children where these already exist and respond early to needs which could lead to the development of learning difficulties.
We support children with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) through tailored plans, visual aids, adapted environments, specialised staff training, and close work with parents and therapists to provide inclusive learning, manage transitions, and access funding, ensuring all children can participate and thrive.
At Seesaw we follow a daily routine to ensure continuity for the children in our care.

The Early Year Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets standards for the learning, development and care of your child whilst they are at preschool. Meeting the individual needs of all children lies at the heart of the EYFS. Practitioners at Seesaw Preschool are trained to deliver personalised learning , development and care to help children to get the best possible start in life. Play underpins the delivery of all the EYFS where children have the opportunity to play indoors and outdoors. At Seesaw we have well planned experiences based on the child's interests where we support children in their learning. The activities offered for 2 to 4 year old children help to promote the prime areas of learning and development.
